Biography
Formed during 1989 in Montreal, the Canadian rock ensemble Bootsauce featured Drew Ling on vocals, Pere Fume and Sonny Greenwich, Jr. sharing guitar duties, Alan Baculis on bass, and Rob Kazenel at the drums. Their approach to blending funk and heavy metal drew comparisons to outfits like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, resulting in the 1991 release of debut album The Brown Album and the 1992 follow-up Bull, by which point Johnny Frappe occupied the drum chair.
