Borko

The melodic electronic endeavor known as Borko stems from Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Björn Kristiansson, who additionally writes scores for film and theater while serving as a music instructor at a Reykjavik school. His fusion of acoustic and electronic elements, echoing the approach of fellow Icelandic group Múm, first surfaced in 2001 through the Trees & Limbo EP issued by the Resonant imprint. Six years of work went into his initial full-length release, Celebrating Life, which appeared on Morr in early 2008.
