Bossi

Born Stefan Bossems, German DJ Bossi first entered dance music toward the end of the 1980s. Drawing primary influence from European synth-pop acts and hip-hop artists, he took up DJing by 1987. Shortly afterward, Klaus Derichs linked up with him during local party sets, creating a DJ and production partnership devoted to house. Bossi initiated a collaboration with X-it Records in 1996 to issue his productions, launching them with the 1997 single "Time to Make the Floor Burn." "Back ll the Old Skool" followed a year later.

In 1999 Stefan Bossems joined Claus Terhoeven (aka Nic Chagall) to form the electronica project Cosmic Gate.
