Biography
South Korean boy band BoyNextDoor craft an approachable, dance-driven style of pop distinguished by its lyrical focus and upbeat tone. Their 2023 arrival came through the single album Who! and the Why... EP, each of which placed inside the Top Ten of the South Korean Albums chart. Both How? and 19.99 then topped the same chart the following year.
Rapper and singer Zico established the sextet under his KOZ Entertainment imprint in 2023, bringing together Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak. The group issued Who! in May 2023, where it reached number three on the Circle Album Charts on the strength of “But I Like You” and “One and Only,” with “Serenade” also featured. Why... followed in September as their debut EP, landing at number three in South Korea and registering on the Billboard 200; “But Sometimes” appeared among its tracks.
How?, their second EP, surfaced in April 2024 and became their first number-one release on both the South Korean and Japanese charts. September brought the third EP, 19.99, containing “Dangerous” and “Nice Guy.” The set led the South Korean Albums chart and the Billboard World Albums chart while reaching the Top 40 of the Billboard 200.
