Biography
A vocalist from Philadelphia named Brandi Wells previously provided backing vocals for "Fat" Larry James along with the ensembles he led, in addition to fronting the groups Breeze and Slick. The first album she released under her own name came out in 1981 via the WMOT/Fantasy imprint, with the track "Watch Out" from the following year standing as her sole entry in the R&B top thirty.
