Brandy Haze

Singer Brandy Haze crafts sultry contemporary R&B laced with trap, house, and electronic dance elements. Attention first arrived via her 2018 Roses EP, followed by broader notice surrounding the 2021 release That's Unfortunate. Additional projects arrived soon after, among them the 2022 set Where We Left Off.

Born in Chino Hills, California, she absorbed a blend of pop during childhood, then encountered '90s R&B in the early 2000s. Songwriting came next, prompting a move to Los Angeles. There she partnered with songwriter/producers Ian Thomas and Leven Kali to issue her debut EP, Roses, in 2018. Two years afterward came the Garden Fire EP, which included the track "Pretend" and secured placements on BET alongside various streaming playlists. The year 2021 brought further EPs, notably Silhouette and That's Unfortunate, while Silhouette, Vol. 2 and Where We Left Off both surfaced in 2022.
