Biography
Bree Sharp's formative years unfolded in Philadelphia, PA, where she drew inspiration from the likes of Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, and Elvis Costello. Equipped with an acoustic guitar, she took to the city's coffeehouse circuit, delivering concise folk compositions. Her songwriting often explored various themes, notably an intense fixation on David Duchovny. Upon completing her studies at New York University, she established herself in Manhattan and released her first album, A Cheap and Evil Girl, during 1999. This was succeeded by her second full-length effort, More B.S., which came out in July 2002, and then the concert album Live at Fez in 2004.
