Biography
Tom Littlefield and Jonathan Bright, two experienced Nashville players, launched the ukulele duo Bright Little Field after uncovering a common passion for Minneapolis’ the Replacements. Each had already delivered plenty of sonic volume around the circuit, Littlefield shaping jangle and twang alongside the Questionnaires while Bright sharpened his skills across several hard-rock groups, yet the prospect of reducing everything to its rawest form—ukulele and pots and pans—while saluting a cherished band proved impossible to ignore. The project yielded Treatment Bound: A Ukulele Tribute to the Replacements, issued by Bar/None in 2012.
