Britti weaves together retro-pop, R&B, country, and soul into a distinctive sound shaped by the rich musical traditions of her New Orleans roots. Producer Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys discovered her through an online cover of one of his tracks, leading him to sign her to Easy Eye Sound and oversee production on the 2024 release Hello, I'm Britti.

Born Brittany Guerin in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she displayed an early affinity for singing while growing up amid blues, zydeco, and R&B in a household that deeply valued music. Her uncle, the esteemed bassist Roland Guerin, brought her along to performances alongside Allen Toussaint and Dr. John, while her strong interest in country also drew her toward artists such as Dolly Parton. She pursued formal training at Loyola University, where she completed a degree in performance, yet professional momentum remained elusive afterward. For several years she held a position at a neighborhood record shop until, following a challenging stretch amid the pandemic, she found renewed focus by sharing online renditions of favored material. One such upload—a take on Dan Auerbach’s “Whispered Words (Pretty Lies)”—caught the songwriter’s attention directly.

Auerbach contacted her, and their subsequent meeting in Nashville sparked an immediate creative rapport. Britti became part of the Easy Eye Sound roster and collaborated with the label’s regular session players to capture her first album. Drawing from Sade, Diana Ross, and Beyoncé alongside echoes of vintage Dolly Parton country-pop, she and Auerbach shaped Hello, I'm Britti into a 2024 collection that merges classic textures with present-day sensibility.
