Bryan & Katie Torwalt

The praise and worship duo Bryan & Katie Torwalt, a husband-and-wife team, first crossed paths while serving as worship leaders at the youth-oriented Jesus Culture ministry in Sacramento, California, and they also performed as part of the well-regarded Jesus Culture band. Their initial duo project of original material, Here on Earth, appeared in 2011; two years later they issued Kingdom Come, a release marked by its soulful tone, folk-pop leanings, and layered harmonies that found guidance in the Lord's Prayer. The self-titled Bryan & Katie Torwalt arrived in 2015 as the pair's third full-length album. Sustaining a steady creative rhythm, the Torwalts followed with Champion the next year, their fourth effort overall.
