Biography
Emerging from Olympia, WA's indie rock noise milieu, Bunny Foot Charm formed in the mid-'90s and secured a deal with Punk in My Vitamins, the label of local heroes Unwound. John Devoy (guitar, vocals), Kelly Hogan (bass), and Gabe Rutledge (drums) drew cues from loud, effusive groups including Pavement, Unwound, and even underground Nirvana, generating attention through their EP releases in 1996 and 1998. On Stalking the Boogieman in 1999, the outfit broadened its fuzzy guitar textures alongside screaming lyrics.
