Biography
Emerging from their hometown of Santa Fe in Argentina, the ska/punk and reggae outfit Butumbaba entered the regional music circuit during the first half of the 1990s through performances at modest local spaces. The ten-piece group issued its debut album Skacharpas in 1997 and later supplied tracks to the area compilation Skamania, which El Kuraka Discos released, as well as to Just Not Punk Enuff on the California-based label Missing Words, plus Remedy Kaos and Niteklub's Global Ska.
