Biography
Formed in Birmingham, Alabama, the country-rock outfit Caddle features vocalist Phillip Hyde alongside guitarists Justin Johnson—who took over from Drew Akin—and Eric Watters, with Chris Pottratz handling bass duties and Finney James on drums. The ensemble has built a reputation through widespread touring, supporting a variety of acts along the way. Their initial recording effort, the independently issued Raise ‘Em High, arrived in autumn 2006.
