Caitlin Crosby, a versatile singer and songwriter from the West Coast, first built her name as a television actress before expanding into entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and music. Raised in Southern California, she began performing in youth groups and church ensembles while still in junior high. Acting opportunities, however, opened her initial path into the industry, leading to appearances in Malcolm in the Middle, That's So Raven, and That Seventies Show, among other projects.

A Levi's jeans campaign brought her wider visibility and gradually shifted her focus toward songwriting. Working alongside producers Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Ty Stevens, and Track & Field, she blended soul, folk, and pop/rock elements, further refined through collaborations with Brian Wilson, William Fitzsimmons, Curtis Peoples, Plain White T's, and Josh Hoge. Though she maintained occasional television and film roles, her vocal presence and compositional skill secured a recording contract. The resulting album Flawz, issued by Blackledge Records in 2009 and helmed by Marshall Altman, yielded the widely circulated single "Still Have My Heart," an uplifting track centered on self-acceptance—a theme that also drives her activism. She co-founded the empowerment platform loveyourflawz.com and launched The Giving Keys, a pay-it-forward initiative that employs jewelry handmade by individuals leaving homelessness to deliver messages of encouragement.

Her next project, the six-song EP Save That Pillow, paired her with co-writer Boots Ottestad (known for work with Robbie Williams and Macy Gray) and executive producer Adam Anders, who helped deepen her already warm, soulful style into one that more strongly recalled Dusty Springfield alongside the classic Southern soul associated with Memphis and Muscle Shoals.
