Biography
Cal Bennett, the Houston-born saxophonist, lent his talents to recordings and live dates with Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick and Donna Summer prior to launching a solo path steeped in R&B and jazz. Local Hero further showcases the contributions of bassists Dwayne Smith and Sam Sims, guitarist John Bigham, vocalists N'Dea Davenport and Francissa Peter, and percussionist Brian Kilgore.
