Camden

In July 1998 the Milwaukee emo band Camden originated when singer-guitarist William Seidel joined forces with guitarist Eric Osterman, bassist Ryan Weber and drummer Brian Zimmerman. Following the development of a loyal hometown audience, the quartet issued its own four-song demo under the Camden name and later expanded the set by two tracks for a reissue through the Snapping Turtle label. A 1999 tour produced the limited EP Fall in an Overcoat, and after inking a deal with the area imprint Grand Theft Autumn the band returned in spring 2000 with its debut full-length, Reel Time Canvas.
