Biography
Two employees of a Tampa, Florida music retailer founded Candy Bars, which later grew into the trio of singer/guitarist/keyboard player Daniel Martinez, cellist Melissa Castellano, and drummer Ryan Hastings. After several years of regional shows and private recordings, the musicians selected their strongest tracks for the debut album On Cutting Ti-Gers in Half and Understanding Narravation, issued May 16, 2006 by the Tampa imprint New Granada Records.
