Biography
Chris Taylor, the multi-instrumentalist and producer known chiefly for his sideman role in Grizzly Bear, pursues CANT as an independent solo outlet. Rather than the layered pop tied to his established work, the project draws on his engineering expertise to shape a precisely rendered electronic aesthetic that stays raw while preserving sonic complexity. His first full-length release under the CANT name arrived in 2011 as Dreams Come True, issued on the artist-run imprint Terrible Records.
