Biography
In 2005 the British rock ensemble Captain assembled in London, with Rik Flynn and Clare Szembek handling lead vocals. Moody, catchy pop defines the group’s sound, which has invited favorable comparisons to such iconic bands as the Beautiful South, Joy Division, Psychedelic Furs, My Bloody Valentine, and others. Captain issued its debut album, This Is Hazelville, on EMI in 2006 with production assistance from former Buggles and Yes singer Trevor Horn.
