Biography
The Portland, OR-based Captain Vs. Crew crafts a sound that veers among sonic noise experiments, melodic pop structures, absurd lyrics, and garagy production. Tim Ervin-Gore supplies vocals and guitar, Shawna Ervin-Gore plays drums, Brunson Moody handles bass, and Rob Jones adds guitar and vocals. Jealous Butcher Records issued the quartet’s debut EP, My Body Is a Radio, in 2001.
