Honduran singer/songwriter Carlos Sabillón first picked up the guitar at age ten and soon afterward wrote the pop ballad “Quiero Volver A Tu Lado,” inspired by his initial romance. In 1995 he cut a demo under the guidance of producer Billy Peña, prompting Mexico’s Fonovisa label to offer him a contract, yet the artist judged himself unready to accept. During 1997 the Latin pop performer supplied original music for the stage production The Corn Is Green and subsequently took a leading part in Neil Simon’s Come Blow Your Horn. The following year Max Urzo and José Eduardo Cubero helmed his first full-length release, Sin Tiempo Ni Distancia, which appeared on Costa Norte Records.
