Biography
From the age of eleven, while growing up in California, Carol Martini has pursued both songwriting and singing. Her initial musical instruction centered on violin before she shifted to guitar, eventually earning a spot on one of the earliest Golden West College Recording Arts compilations for her song "Take My Heart." The 1980s saw her travel to England in hopes of forming a band, yet her debut self-produced disc, The Story So Far, appeared only after she came back to the United States in 1990. Piece by Piece followed in 1992, with Modern Loneliness arriving in 2000.
