Biography
Hailing from England, the lively vocalist Gordon collaborates closely with bassist Bob Newman, earning widespread audience appeal alongside critical praise. The pair received the British Country Music Association's Best Duo award three times. Their joint tours included American guests Tammy Wynette and Boxcar Willie. Gordon and Newman also created and brought to UK stages the productions Forever In Blue Jeans and Voice Of The Heart. While both revues spanned popular music from the 1950s onward, Forever In Blue Jeans centered on material linked to Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley and Shania Twain, whereas Voice Of The Heart honored the Carpenters.
Gordon and Newman have staged their shows at multiple music festivals and aboard luxury cruise liners.
