Biography
Dwayne and Laura of Autocollants launched the acoustic duo Cartwheel in 1997 as a side project meant to house songs that fell outside the dream-inspired roster of their main band. Working with a spare pop style built on sweet boy/girl vocals, the pair placed their first recording on the 1997 compilation This Is Stereophonic Sunshine. Cartwheel followed that appearance with the release of their debut EP Tumble on Sandcastle Records two years later.
