Cavalry

Hailing from Liverpool, the English indie rock outfit Cavalry crafts an evocative sound that fuses lush indie folk with soaring alt-rock, drawing inspiration from the National and the Maccabees. The atmosphere-driven five-piece came together in 2014, featuring Steven Taylor on guitar, Gareth Dawson on drums, Alan Croft handling lead vocals, Austin Logan on guitar, and Paul James Jones on bass. In 2015, this Merseyside quintet issued the singles "Soak" and "An Understanding," which garnered notice from The Guardian and the BBC. Early the following year, Fierce Panda put out their third single, the slow-burning and anthemic "Everything."
