Cessna

Cessna emerged in 1997 with the EP Holiday On Ice, its heartfelt guitar pop offering a distinct contrast to the prevailing black metal sound then dominating Finland. That same year the quartet—Sami on vocals and guitar, Jani on drums, Tomi on guitar, and Kimmo on bass—issued the double three-inch CD Bordeaux and spent the next twelve months touring Europe in support of both releases. Once back home they tracked the My Blue Anglia EP, setting the stage for the arrival of Television Song the following year.
