Biography
Champion Kickboxer, a British rock quartet, came together in Sheffield through singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Bates, keyboardist/guitarist/singer Sam Marsh, bassist/singer Sam Bunn, and drummer/singer Neil Piper. Thee Sheffield Phonographic Corporation (aka Thee SPC), an independent label, signed the group and issued the single "Supertram"/"Like Him + Her + Her + Me" in June 2004. Their album Perforations appeared the following May in 2006. On October 16, 2007, the American independent label 54°40' or Fight! put out a reissue of the album that included the two earlier single tracks as bonus material.
