Biography
Chaotic Order, a traditional metal outfit hailing from San Diego, debuted via a self-titled album in 1997 that spotlighted Matt McMullen on vocals and guitar together with Jon Bain on bass and Jack Dubord on drums. Not long afterward, talk spread about former Helstar vocalist James Rivera and second guitarist Chris Meadors entering the fold, though only a handful of scarce demos ever appeared and no official recordings followed. The band therefore returned to its original trio, added Matt Krivicke as the replacement guitarist, and set out to start work on a second album in 2004.
