Biography
Charles Douglas, an indie rocker, entered the world in Dayton, Ohio in 1976. His first appearance in music came as one member of the duo Vegetarian Meat. A nervous breakdown resulted in prolonged hospitalization that lasted through most of 1996 and 1997; once discharged, he ended Vegetarian Meat, accepted a position at Burger King, and launched a solo trajectory. Mid-1999 brought the release of The Lives of Charles Douglas, produced by Moe Tucker.
