Biography
Long before attaining widespread recognition via the high-visibility techno imprint Moonshine, Charles Feelgood had already established firm connections to the house music and rave communities spanning Baltimore and D.C. From 1997 onward he served as a principal force at Charm City Recordings, where he joined Nardy Teal to form the duo Partners in Crime. The pair delivered both remixes and original productions that became fixtures of the Baltimore/D.C. dance music landscape. His standing strengthened further when he partnered with popular D.C. high energy DJ Scott Henry to open the club Orbit, later renamed Fever. Greater notice followed his signing to Moonshine records, the label recognized for transforming unknown DJs into major figures including DJ Dan, Carl Cox, and DJ Keoki. In November 2000 he issued Can You Feel It, a high energy tech-house collection on that imprint, and a year afterward contributed his own installment to the DJmixed.com series.
