Charles Kynard

Charles Kynard handles both the organ and electric bass as a jazz-funk player whose approach stands alongside those of earlier figures and fellow musicians without outshining them. His touch stays grounded and dependable rather than showy or extravagant. The recording Reelin' With the Feelin' has been drawn upon for samples and shows up across numerous acid jazz projects.
