Biography
Born in New York City's Bronx neighborhood, Charles Lyonhart grew up immersed in the city's hub of modern folk-rock and the beat poetry scene. Over time, he began crafting fiction and songs while also working as a music journalist. The 1990s saw him shift to a full-time music career, playing regularly at spots throughout New York state. His appearance at Woodstock '94 coincided with the start of his album releases on Continuum Records. Entering the 2000s, he toured nationwide alongside peers and influences, building a dedicated audience via consistent album output.
