Biography
Writers for heavy metal publications Marty Rytkonen, who records as Worm, and S. Craig Zahler, who records as Czar, formed Charnel Valley to vent their most elemental black-metal impulses. The pair realized that aim with the 2005 EP The Dark Archives, a recording so elemental in character that it makes Darkthrone resemble Dream Theater. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
