Biography
Charytín, a Latin singer, actress, and TV host, first saw the light of day in the Dominican Republic and then relocated to Puerto Rico in 1974. Under the moniker La Rubia de America (America's Blond), this versatile performer fronted the widely viewed discussion program Ahora Charytín throughout the 1990s. Her recorded work leans predominantly toward pop and ballad styles.
