Formed around home-studio experiments in a lo-fi vein, Cherry Twister revolves around Steve Ward’s songwriting and lead vocals paired with Ross Sackler on drums. The group’s first release, issued under its own name by Planet Earthy in 1993, was followed by the enlistment of guitarist Michael Giblin for the 1999 album At Home With Cherry Twister.
