Biography
Keyboardist Brian Kassan, previously a member of the Wondermints, launched the power pop group Chewy Marble in Los Angeles. Singer and guitarist Stu Forman joined forces with bassist Derrick Anderson and drummer Tamera Glover to complete the roster. The band stepped onto the stage for the debut edition of the Poptopia Festival in 1996, after which Permanent Press released their first full-length album—a self-titled LP—one year later.
