Biography
Children Collide's clanging punk-infused indie rock took shape through the alliance of guitarist/vocalist Johnny Mackey and bassist Heath Crawley, with drummer Ryan later rounding out the lineup. The band surfaced via Melbourne's pub circuit, where its melodic yet abrasive approach frequently invited comparisons to American rock heroes Sonic Youth and Nirvana. They issued the six-song EP We Three, Brave and True in 2005, then followed with the Glass Mountain Liars EP on Australia's Flying Nun Records late the next year.
