Biography
Chip Bailey serves as percussionist within the supporting ensemble for Belfast singer/songwriter Duke Special, where he generates distinctive rhythms and sounds by means of unconventional implements such as a cheese grater and egg whisk combination. Following years of only part-time involvement with various groups, he committed more fully to music once Duke Special attained success, issuing the album Temperance Society Chronicles in 2007. Through his Rhythmic Connection program he also conducts drum circles along with workshops aimed at schools and corporate seminars.
