Biography
Prior to his music career, the Southern rap performer Chocolate Bandit had played professional football. He later joined Death Row Records, placing his single “What’s the Deal” on the label’s Gang Related soundtrack. That release effectively concluded his tenure there, as the company fell dormant after 2Pac’s death. Chocolate Bandit resurfaced in 2001 with Lyrical Warfare, issued on Country Boy Records and featuring production by Reggie Moore.
