Biography
Previously a member of Cycle and Magic Cycle, guitarist Paul Clinch assembled the band Choya alongside bassist Joe Dinardo, drummer Gary Gries, keyboardist Bruce Ley, violist Debbie Schall, and Rickie York on congas. Choya issued its popular single "Linda Write Me a Letter" during 1976 and followed with Living like a Rich Man the year after. As a solo performer, Clinch scored Canadian hits with "Don't Take the Sun" in 1972 and "Band Bandit" in 1979.
