Biography
Chris Bucheit, an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, first picked up the six-string at age nine and later fronted the power pop band Big Citizen for a full decade. Shifting focus to solo acoustic work, he blended pop, jazz, and R&B influences to shape the sound he named "alternapopafolk." His debut LP Naive Work Songs appeared in 1997, with Hand to Mouth arriving two years afterward.
