Biography
Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Chris Sails built a following as a contemporary R&B vocalist and rapper through his role as one half of the ChrisandQueen partnership alongside Queen Naija. Their YouTube vlogs turned the duo into a major social-media attraction, drawing subscriptions from well over two million viewers. Several joint tracks—“Maybe,” “Secret Girl,” and “Breaking Bread”—appeared on streaming services and as digital downloads throughout 2017. Sails and Naija ended their relationship by year’s end and each moved forward as an independent artist. His initial solo singles, “Broke Her Heart,” “Me and You,” and “Letter to My Ex,” surfaced in 2018.
