Biography
From a tender age, Christina Saffran Ashford, recognized as a Broadway diva, displayed remarkable vocal talent. Her skills gained early notice, prompting her to join the St. Louis Municipal Opera at nine years old. There she refined her performance craft and rose through the ranks to principal roles. Broadway soon followed, where she landed parts in multiple prominent musicals. Live work brought collaborations with Herbie Hancock, while additional assignments included voiceover contributions to cartoons for both Disney and Warner Bros. She further served as a founding member of Retinoblastoma International, an organization devoted to protecting children’s vision from infant eye cancer. After extensive work supporting other projects, she launched her own debut solo album, Temporary Insanity.
