Biography
Chuck Murphy, an award-winning American singer and songwriter whose passions center on country, folk, and blues, absorbed the styles of James Taylor, Marshall Tucker, the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Charlie Daniels Band while growing up. Raised in Bloomington, Minnesota, and now based in Palmdale, California, the artist reached mainstream audiences in 2015 through the hit single "How Many Times?" After first reaching the top of the SoundCloud charts, Murphy advanced to high placements on multiple Billboard charts with his 2016 EP Peace Be with You. Outside his roles as singer and songwriter, he has composed for independent films, served as a producer, and run many workshops focused on songwriting and industry operations. He also leads the hard-driving country-rock and blues band Big Coyote.
