Biography
Originating from the Canary Islands—a region long recognized across Spain as especially productive for urbano sounds—Ciara Lauve built her career as a singer in the genre. Her father, a DJ who helped bring reggaeton into the country’s clubs, gave her an early foothold in the business and a set of industry ties that encompassed producers Pipe Tovar and Menes (Los de la Nazza). She issued her first single, “Pacto,” in April 2023; within less than twelve months she had signed with Warner Music. Further releases and partnerships kept the campaign moving, among them “OMG” with Cauty, “Anfi” with Pedro Calderón, and the Botlock-produced “Apretá,” along with accompanying videos and festival performances. Her debut EP, La Ciara, arrived in June 2024 while she was still barely 18; the project gathered several of those earlier singles and introduced new collaborations with Deyma, Moffa, Wos LasPalmas, and Stetch.
