Biography
Forming the vallenato-pop duo Ciclon, songwriter and accordionist Humberto Judex teamed with vocalist Carlos Mario Olivella to perform at weddings and festive gatherings across their native Colombia. As recommendations circulated, the pair soon attracted audiences to bars and discotecas throughout Colombia plus Puerto Rico, Panama, and Miami, FL. Their self-titled debut appeared in 2005 on the Sony International label, earning a nomination for Best Contemporary Tropical Album at the 2006 Latin Grammy Awards.
