Biography
Cielo Ceniza, a Latin pop rock band from California, came together in 1997 through the collaboration of singer Cielo, guitarists Ki-Ke and Eric Fraser, and bassist Cory Fraser. An EP appeared in 1999, which opened the door for the group to showcase original material alongside Jaguares during a September date at San Francisco's Fillmore. The band's debut full-length, Experimento Cielo, arrived in April 2000, coinciding with an ASCAP nomination for Best Independent Latin Rock Band. Additional live exposure followed when the ensemble joined the bill for Las Noches Del Dragon, an event backed by a Latin music magazine.
