Biography
Clon 251, a Spanish alternative metal outfit, originated in 1998 through the partnership of David Rivero, formerly with Athanathos, and Jaime Echuaca, previously associated with Pitusa Cola. Guitarist Raúl Sánchez and singer Alejandro Marrero joined the group soon after its formation. The band’s initial concert appearance occurred at Maspalomas’ Festival de Solidaridad. Victory in a competition organized by Jesiisma recording studios then granted Clon 251 a slot on a compilation devoted to local rock acts.
