Biography
Closer than Kin came together in Massachusetts during 2000, uniting vocalist Nick with guitarists JK and Stevie Chaos, bassist Rich, and drummer Roger. The band walks the boundary separating heavy metal from punk rock in the manner that defines vintage hardcore. Their first release appeared in 2003 as The Machineries of Breath, an album they characterize as containing horrorcore.
