Biography
Yael Nahar, a Dutch DJ and electronic music producer operating from Amsterdam, records under the stage name CMC$, a stylized shorthand for See Me Counting Stacks. His work covers a range of EDM forms, among them hip-hop, R&B, moombahton, and house. He studied production at Hermon Brood Academie alongside fellow Netherlands-based DJ Martin Garrix, then delivered his first single, "Wake Up Call" (feat. Lucid), in 2015. Major attention arrived the next year with "Not Going Home," a track created in tandem with Canadian electronic music duo DVBBS. "Keys," which included vocalist Jalise Romy, arrived in 2017.
